Its time for me to start a new chapter in my life, or maybe just reopen an old chapter. After being a stay at home mom and doing daycare for 3 years we moved into the country. Because of the location of our house I quit daycare and decided to go back to work part time. This made me realize how blessed I was to be able to stay home with my kids. So I decided to quit working and stay home again.

After making this choice I also made the choice to start a small daycare in my home again. My love has always been for children, staying at home and working with young children is the best job in the world, and the bonus is that I never have to leave my children in someone elses care.

Not everyone has that luxery, in fact, it is sometimes not even an option. Thats where I come in.

My goal is to provide your children with the same love and care they get at home from mom and dad. My dream is to make every child that comes to my home feel welcome, comfortable and loved, and to make sure that every day they are with me, they learn, explore, discover and most of all HAVE FUN!

I want every child and parent that I work with to know that I want the best for your family. I want to work closley with you and to get your input on how to help your family. How you deal with problems is how I will here, share with me the way your family operates and I will try to memic it as best I can so your child can transition best into my home.

This blog is my way of sharing our day to day activities, discoveries, experiments, and adventures with you. I will post photos (with your permission of course), comments, questions, and anything else that I think needs to be posted on here for you to look at and discuss with your family. This blog will be private to parents and family members, when you enroll your child in my daycare I will also invite you to join my blog.

My home is located 12 miles out of town, which has its draw backs and advantages...
because of the location it is difficult for parents to justify driving out of their way for daycare services. However if you do, I like to think it will be worth your time and few extra miles. We wont be going to the park for the afternoon or to the local swimming pool every week. We won't be able to meet you for lunch or pick up kids from school.

But on the flip of that, being in the country and on a farm gives children opportunities they just dont get in town. We will take regular nature walks in the spring and fall, make mud pies in the summertime, plant a huge garden and grow giant flowers for the kids to take care of. We will visit with the baby bottle calves in the early spring, and watch the tractors work in the fields around my house during the hot summer.

Most of all we will enjoy every second of the day together.
